Congratulations to November’s Athletes of the Month Emily Wesseling (Cross Country, grade 11) & Daniel Marchant (Jr Football, grade 9).

Emily Wesseling is November’s Athlete of the month. She placed 2nd at GHAC 5 km Cross Country at Hilton Falls Conservation Area with a time of 19:34. Her 2nd place finish earned her a spot at OFSAA for her 3rd trip to Cross Country OFSAA and 5th OFSAA Championship overall. Emily had a great showing at OFSAA at the University of Waterloo on November 1st. She placed 21st out of close to 300 of the best grade 11 & 12 runners in the province with a time of 21:49. Congratulations Emily!

Mr. November, Daniel Marchant, a first-year player with the junior football team took on the role as one of the team’s three running back and punter.  Having never played football before, he absorbed the coach’s instructions and became the hard pounding running back, to complement our ground game. Turning it on, in November just in time for playoffs, he was the last piece in the puzzle, which helped the team to the Halton Championships on November 24th. Congratulations Daniel!
