For the first time in 4 years MD has a rugby team!!! MD is fielding both a girls and a boys varsity team and they are doing great! The girls have played two games and played exceptionally well showing real promise and an affinity for the game. Led by captains Rachel Luce, Funmi Olomodosi, and Anna Jones the girls were able to stay competitive in a hard exhibition loss to Hayden, losing 24-17. After making some important game modifications for their next game against Keilberger, they were able to improve and beat the cross town rivals 15-5. Well done!
