On Thursday, April 30th, 2015, Milton District’s Envirothon team won first place in Forestry and second place overall in the Halton/Peel Regional Envirothon Competition.

This was the first time that Milton District had participated in this competition, and it was a proud moment for us. There were 9 participating teams, and the Mustangs rose to the moment.

We were skeptical of our performance, and absolutely stunned when the results were declared. We had to be told twice that we were one of the top teams! We came in as underdogs, being one of the youngest of the teams, and left as runners-up, giving us hope of being the champions next year.
