Last month the Mustangs In Blue held their last major event of the year, the Dessert Social. Under the direction of Ms Khan, the students and other teachers helped host a wonderful night of delicious treats and live entertainment.

The Eco Club was also present to reduce the trash collected and managed to restrict the amount of non-recyclable products to half a garbage bag. Fortunately only compostable utensils were used, making the job of the Eco Volunteers much easier. The Eco-Club was ecstatic to achieve their goal of having less than one garbage bag of non-recyclable, non-compostable waste.

It was a great environmentally conscious way of finishing the last major social event of the year!
