For the majority of the 250 students and staff that journeyed to YMCA Wanakita for the annual Wilderness North trip, adventure and friendship filled sunny days.  For 20 of those lucky students, a week of isolation was in store.

When a stomach flu virus decided to join the party, which spread through a small section of camp, a small group of students were separated to prevent any further sickness…

Call it a waste of time, but the members of Wilderness North’s first ever “Sick Squad” was complete with movie marathons, tanning on the docks of Koshlong Lake, and dining on the exclusive porch of the Core. Regardless, it was a week to remember!
