Recently, certain classes and Eco Club Members were busy in the backyard!

\As the first step towards an outdoor classroom, the garden beds have been placed and there are plans to establish a cool sitting area, and attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies.

Thanks to the generosity of donors such as the Real Canadian Superstore and the Big Yellow Bag Company, MDHS was able to lay down the roots for this amazing project. Also thanks to staff and students who brought their gardening tools and helped make this dream a reality. This garden will be dedicated to this year’s outgoing class for their dedication to creating a more sustainable world.
