Students from the Senior Concert Band are to be congratulated for a wonderful performance at Musicfest Nationals in Niagara Falls.

When the students performed at Regionals in February, they got a Gold Award. This means they played against a standard of excellence for the category which we were entered in. This is a huge feat, however, receiving Gold at regionals is certainly not on the same playing field as receiving any level of distinction at the National Level.

The Mustangs are very proud to have won a Silver Award at the National Level this week. The kids truly worked very hard to make this their best performance. This has been a great year to return to music fest and they have learned a lot from all the professionals they have worked with this semester.
