Hi, I am Thea Richinson, a student at MDHS on the news team, and I wanted to write my own little column about my opinion of different LGBTQ+ books so others could have a taste of some good books.

A lot of books starring queer characters are hard to read, especially if you get very attached to them in the short time you get to know them. This column is for sharing LGBTQ+ inclusive books I love and encourage everyone to read.

The goal here is to try and post one review every week, and in honour of National Coming Out Day, I decided to start today. I hope you, dear reader, will enjoy this little niche of literature and be inspired to read one or more of these books I share throughout the year. Thank you.
