Earlier this month a group of students enrolled in grade 11 English courses spent three days at Camp Kawartha. English courses in the eleventh grade are special because they focus on the indigenous people of Canada’s current events and English-related works, so Camp Kawartha was a great chance to have a fun experience learning about the culture of these people.
The students developed great memories and many made new friends while on the trip. While this was nothing compared to Wilderness North that many of the participants had visited before, this trip will stay in the hearts of those who attended.
