The MDHS Wellness Team held a wellness assembly this past Friday. It was well organized and the team deserves a thumbs up for their awesome efforts. There was a moment of silence for the recently fallen member of our Mustang alumni, Zach Plater. The team also announced that MDHS won gold in the OPHEA Healthy Schools Certification as well as many other fantastic schools in Halton. Best of all, the students involved the students in the audience in fun activities on stage such as a dance-off and a toilet paper wrapping competition. This assembly was definitely worth the modified schedule for the day.
