On May 24th, Milton District’s own Social Justice Specialist High School Major (SHSM) took a road trip. Their final destination was Long Point, ON, located on Lake Erie (as far down as you can get in Ontario). Ten students were selected to attend this leadership building opportunity with Mrs. Gleeson, Mr. Newman, and Mrs. Compton-Morgan. There they spent two days and one night star gazing, zip lining, “glamping”, and participating in team building activities. Students returned on Friday, filled with joy from the trip but with sorrow for its end.
