MDHS’ Robotics team has started up once again this fall. This year, they’ve welcomed a variety of talented new students determined to make the year one of 3271’s best. They have also introduced many new things this year, such as the outreach subteam, and their Snapchat account. There’s a ton of exciting things happening with MD’s Robotics team this year—and it’s going to be amazing.
This October, the team is heading to the Fall Fiesta; an offseason event for new members to experience their first ever robotics competition. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before. The competition doesn’t count towards the actual F.I.R.S.T Robotics competition later in the school year, but it’s still a fun experience and worth attending.
The Robotics team is accepting new members all year round, no matter what you excel at. Good at dancing? Great! You can help with the parody video the team is making this fall. Good at organizing? Awesome! You can help the business and marketing team with spreadsheets and sponsors! 3571 is looking for members with many different skills, so don’t hesitate to join!
Meetings take place every Tuesday and Thursday until 6 p.m. each week, so come on down to room 127 to join or just look around! It’s an amazing experience. (And looks really good on your resume.)
