Once again, another successful grade eight night at Milton District High School. It was a huge turn out on November 8th.
The school staff and students set up displays in the large gym, front foyer, and in classrooms. They also answered any questions that were asked.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m., Grade 8 students and their parents travelled around the school to see what MD has to offer.
They learned about our courses, clubs, and activities including English, the Arts, Sciences, Mathematics, Humanities, Music, Business, Technology, DECA, and more. They also learned about MDHS’s Advanced Placement and French Immersion programs, as well as the Wilderness North trip all Grade 10 students are encouraged to go on. The six SHSMs at Milton District were also discussed in detail.
This year, students in the foods classes made appetizers for the parents and future Grade 9 students.
Overall, grade eight night was a huge success. We hope to see a lot of new faces here at MDHS next year!
