On November 13th, the Grade 11 and 12 Law classes had a chance to visit the Superior Court of Justice in Toronto.
Upon arrival, students sat down and were able to ask a judge and two lawyers questions regarding their jobs.
Following the Q&A session, students were given the chance to sit in on some cases.
While the two murder trials were full, they still had the chance to listen to trials regarding assault, forcible confinement, robbery, drugs, fraud and possession of a firearm.
While the identity of an accused will remain a mystery for some fortunate students, this field trip was an unforgettable learning experience!
