On Thursday, November 29th, Milton District will be hosting Wali Shah, the Mississauga Poet Laureate, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.!

Wali Shah will be sharing his family’s success story, from their departure from Pakistan when he was three years old, to their arrival at Pearson, to seeing him receive a world class education here in Canada.

The 24-year-old is now a University of Toronto graduate, artist, and professional speaker.

Shah will entertain parents with what he has learned along the way—and how the support of his own parents affected his success.
