The 4th annual Milton Coldest Night of the Year event took place at the Milton Sports Centre on Saturday February 23rd, 2019. Between 5pm and 8pm, over a hundred people walked around central Milton for a community based charity called Milton Transitional Housing. The walks were divided into three routes, 2km, 5km, and 10km. People were advised to donate or raise as much money as they could in order to take part in the event.

Over the last couple of years, an estimated $50 000 has been raised for this great cause by the Milton Community. Overall the event was a magnificent success, and will continue to be an iconic event for the community.

Many MDHS students volunteered for this event, so keep in mind that this could be an opportunity next year for those who still need to get their hour done

Next year’s Coldest Night of the Year event will take place on Saturday, February 22nd.
