As International Women’s Day approaches on March 8th, the Social Justice SHSM leads up to the March on Main with their own methods of raising awareness.

One of these methods includes playing songs on the announcements that empower women all around the world.

The song list includes popular female singers such as Beyonce, Ariana Grande, and Lady Gaga, as well as a collaboration between Canadian singers Tanya Tagaq and Buffy St. Marie.

International Women’s Day is fast approaching and everyone is welcome to the trip on Main Street on Friday, if you are interested pick up forms from the English Office.
