A tradition started last school year, period 0 ran again today for all students. The goal of period 0 is to allow extra study and catch-up time for the students. They pick a classroom or designated workspace to study in with their subject or teacher of choice and they can ask one-on-one questions or group study for the entire period without extra lessons or distractions. With the success of the event each time it runs, MDHS will continue to run the occasional period 0 when possible in a semester.
