Attention Milton District!
Tomorrow, April 10th marks the National Day of Pink in Canada.
Pink day first began when two students saw one of their peers being bullied for wearing a pink shirt at school and they decided to stand against this by encouraging the whole school to wear pink.
Now, we wear pink to show anti-bullying and stand up against homophobia, transphobia, and all types of discrimination.
To show your support we encourage all Mustangs to wear pink. This includes shirts, sweaters, pants, or even bracelets.
So, don’t forget to wear PINK!
