From Tuesday, September 16, to Friday, September 20, an enthusiastic group of teachers and Grade 12 leaders led our Grade 10s in a week full of outdoor fun! Wilderness North—held each year up north near Haliburton—was an amazing experience our students will never forget.

Students participated in a wide variety of engaging outdoor activities such as archery, swimming, volleyball, climbing walls, team initiatives, and a snazzy talent show.

A huge thanks to all the leaders who helped keep the week running smoothly, as well as the Wanakita staff for running the show and providing scrumptious camp meals!

The students who attended had a blast, and we hope to have a similar turnout in future years!

As one of the Grade 10 students who went on this trip, I’m looking forward to having the chance to return in my Grade 12 year as a camp leader!
