Healthy food from local sources was in focus Thursday as MD participated in the annual Great Big Crunch.

With fresh, hand-picked apples donated from Drummond Farms in Waterdown, students and teachers alike all crunched down simultaneously at the end of Period 2 following a ten-second countdown.

This event was a hit once again—the apples were delicious as always. I even had two!
