Students taking Grade 12 Fashion have been working long and hard making newspaper dresses on a variety of mannequins!

Students were given the option of working either on a small Barbie doll or on a life-sized mannequin.

Once finished, the class set up the much-awaited showcase of their designs in the library, and an online poll asked visitors of the showcase to vote for their favourite dress. After one week, the votes were tallied up and the winner was declared!

Areej, Lauren, Hessa, and Rida placed first with their beautiful maxi dress with a sweetheart neckline and short train.

In second place was the two-piece dress on the Barbie Doll made by Chyna and Jamiel.

In third place was the A-Line dress with a flower choker made by Sachi, Anna, and Arya.

All the dresses were very well-made and showcased the class’s talent tremendously. Great work!
