Milton District High School’s Varsity Girls curling team won the Golden Horseshoe Athletic Conference (GHAC) curling championship in a decisive victory Wednesday at the Oakville Curling Club!

The team, which comprises members Hannah Anderson, Megan Abrams, Vivian Fraser, Paige Stanley, and Sydney Robinson, along with coach Mrs. Szura, iced over Burlington’s Assumption Catholic Secondary School 10–1.

The game—which saw the Halton Secondary School Athletic Association curling champions (Milton District) face off against the Halton Catholic Athletic Association curling champions (Assumption)—is the qualifier for the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) provincial championships which will take place from March 25 to March 28.
