Our Mustangs brought their spirit to RelayU at the Scarborough Convention Centre last Wednesday!

RelayU is an event organized every year by the Canadian Cancer Society and lead by senior university students from their own Relay For Life committees.

MD’s Relay for Life committee got some helpful pointers at RelayU and came up with new ideas to organize the fantastic event that happens annually at Milton District—from the assembly to the day itself—and all the fundraising that happens in the middle!

This year, the committee is excited to make some big changes from the previous two years. Relay For Life will be held on May 26, following a school-wide rally on April 29.

In addition to fantastic prizes up for grabs, including AirPods, giftcards, and vouchers, the committee will be selling the tie-dye shirts modelled in the photo above!
