The Milton Rotary Club brings together a worldwide network of volunteer leaders who dedicate their time and talent to tackle some of the world’s most urgent humanitarian challenges. Rotary connects 1.2 million people from more than 200 countries. Their mission has an effect on people’s lives, both locally and internationally. Milton Rotary is filled with many dedicated volunteers who share a passion for community service and networking. Becoming a Rotarian opens doors to a diverse group of community leaders and professionals who share a passion to give back.

The Rotary Club is looking to help youth in the community. The Rotary Milton Youth Summit is being held virtually on April 10.

The theme for the event is “Be Tomorrow’s Leaders Today.” Some of the topics that will be discussed include mental health, environment and climate concerns, career development, and service learning.

Some local organizations will be taking part, such as Sustainable Milton.  Local businesses and the Ontario Training Network will assist with the event’s online training portion.

There are many benefits to this summit that participants will receive. Some of these benefits include a certificate of participation/attendance, a great resume line, personal growth and self awareness, career development and mentorship, awareness and education on environmental issues and much more.
You can sign up to the call through the Milton Rotary Club website. The club hopes to have about 200 people registered.

This summit is very beneficial for the participants. It offers great experience and looks great on a resume!
