Big congrats to our boys (pictured above) for their efforts and in representing the school in any way shape or form in a real life live event for the first time since early March 2020…. It was the best thing ever to see students getting to compete against and enjoy being around other student athletes. 

Huge thank you to Greg Douglas for organizing and getting this team together on incredibly short notice.  He literally found out the schedule of how this would run on Monday night and after monsoon rains that ensued for most of last week he got a team ready for today including a practice round. 

All that being said, the team finished 6th out of 16 schools in Halton and Gabe Tovell won a silver medal, shooting a 74 and qualifying for GHAC. This is a huge accomplishment as only two players move on individually. He’ll play next Tuesday at Pipers Heath against the best from Halton Catholic and Hamilton Catholic to try to qualify for the Provincial Tournament. 

Congratulations to all of the team for being great ambassadors for our school and playing so well!
