This year MD had an outstanding total of 8 OFSAA qualifying athletes in 12 different events.
Stand-out performances included Grade 9 Ella Kubas, who placed 22nd in 80m hurdles and 13th in 3000m, Grade 11 Emily Wesseling who placed 10th in 1500m and 16th in 800m, and Grade 9 Simon Black who placed 10th in shot put. Congratulations to all three athletes on their OFSAA success and also on being June’s Athletes of the Month!
