Two tree service workers killed during the recent windstorm will be honoured with a community scholarship fund.
It has been established in the memory of Campbellville’s Zach Plater and Adam Sura of Orangeville, Miller Tree employees who lost their lives while clearing branches in the Fourth Line and No. 20 Sideroad area.
Applicants will include those looking to attend university, college or a trade school. The selection committee will be members of the Plater, Sura and Miller families, as well as the Campbellville Community Association (DCCA).
Donations to the fund can be made to the Adam and Zach Memorial on GoFundMe, through PayPal or EMT to finance@campbellville.net, or by cheque to DCCA or Campbellville Community Association with Adam and/or Zach in the memo line.
